Selected design and development

A small portfolio, presented honestly and with intention.

The strongest work comes first. Lens Boy is a live client site where the design, the front-end, the admin panel and the hosting were all mine; the technical projects show the code and experiments around it. This page will grow as more client work ships.

Photography portfolio and custom CMS

Lens Boy

A working portfolio for a street photographer. The interface stays restrained so scale, crop and rhythm give each image a reason to be there — and the whole thing is maintained by the photographer, through an admin panel built for this site alone.

Art direction

A dark, near-monochrome frame around largely black-and-white work, with concise labels and collection filters that let the photography set the pace.

An admin panel, not a dashboard

The photographer uploads, captions and categorises their own images, and images are watermarked and resized server-side on the way out. No CMS to learn, no developer in the loop for routine changes.

A home page that refreshes itself

Every interval, ten photographs are drawn by a weighted selection that favours images shown least. The front page keeps changing, and the whole archive gets its turn rather than the same few frames recurring.

Related proof

Design on one side, technical work on the other.

The portfolio is deliberately not padded with invented case studies. Public code and smaller builds live separately, where they can support the service without pretending to be client work.
